My name is Maria Susana Raymundo Pérez. I was born Aug 15, 1984. Originally from Santa Maria Nebaj, El Quiché. I speak the language of Ixil as well as Kíché, English and Spanish. My profession is bilingual secretary.

At the moment I am studying Physical and Occupational Therapy a the University Rafael Landivar. There are many reasons why I chose this career path.

1. When I was younger I used to watch people with handicaps. I also wanted to help them.

2. I used to live in Chichicastenango and I saw physical thearapist coming to our community to help people. They began giving me information about the services they offer and how I could help.

3. I was the only one of 50 students who qualified for the career path of Physical Thearapist.

Every day that goes by, I know this was the right choice for me.
